International Lithium Corp. [ILC-TSXV] is a lithium resource developer with a global portfolio of lithium assets (25.5%-owned by TNR Gold Corp [TNR-TSX]): the 100%-owned Mariana Project, a lithium-potash salar in Argentina; the Forgan Lake lithium pegmatite property, 125 km northeast of Thunder Bay, Ontario; The Niemi lithium property in Ontario, in the Georgia Lake pegmatite field; the Moose lithium-tantalum-niobium occurrence 115 km east-southeast of Yellowknife; the Mavis-Fairservice pegmatite property near Dryden Ontario; and a US project, 25 miles from Clayton Valley, which hosts a US lithium producer. Li3 Energy Inc. [LIEG-OTCBB] acquired 60% of Sociedades Legales Mineras Litio 1 a 6 de la Sierra Hoyada de Maricunga, a group of six private companies, which collectively own the Maricunga Project located in the Salar de Maricunga (the "Salar") in Region III of Atacama in northern Chile. Li3 Energy also owns 100% of the Loriscota, Suches, and Vizcachas projects respectively located in the Departments of Puno, Tacna and Moquegua, Peru. The projects are prospective of lithium and potassium deposits. Lithium Americas Corp.'s [LAC-TSX] main property, located in the heart of the Puna Plateau, Jujuy, Argentina, hosts the third largest lithium brine resource in the world. Lomiko Metals Inc. [LMR-TSXV] has the Salar de Aguas Caliente lithium brine property in Chile; the Salar has significant surface brines known to contain lithium, sulfate and potash. New World Resource Corp.'s [NW-TSXV] Pastos Grandes Project is in the Sud Lipez province within the Department of Potosi, Bolivia. The Pastos Grandes salar is part of the Bolivian Altiplano which is host to many alkaline and saline lakes and salars. The company's 1,500-metre drill program on the Pastos Grandes Project is over 50% complete and has delivered excellent results. New World is looking to commercialize their lithium assets after the expiry of a Letter of Intent for proposed sale of its lithium assets to Li3 Energy. Orocobre Limited [ORL-TSX; ORE-ASX] is an Argentinian-based, industrial minerals company, building a large–scale, de-novo brine based lithium project at its flagship Salar de Olaroz resource in Jujuy, Argentinia. Orocobre plans to be a low-cost brine producer, with 17,500 tonnes per annum of Phase I production of battery grade lithium carbonate. Production is expected to come on-stream beginning in April 2014. First Potash Corp. [FSP-TSXV] (Formerly Pan American Lithium Corp.) is focusing on their three brine salars in Chile: Laguna Verde, Salar de Pedernales and Laguna Brava. A scoping and prefeasibility study is planned for the Laguna Verde, a NI 43-101 resource study is planned for their Salar de Pedernales and Laguna Brava projects. Rodinia Lithium Inc. [RM-TSXV] is a Canadian mineral exploration and development company with a primary focus on lithium exploration and development in North and South America. The company is also actively exploring the commercialization of a significant potash co-product that is recoverable through the lithium harvesting process. Talison Lithium Ltd. [TLH-TSX] is a global producer of lithium with projects in Western Australia and Chile. Their Greenbushes Lithium Operations are approximately 250 km south of Perth. The first Greenbushes lithium processing plant was commissioned in 1985. Since that time, the lithium processing plant has been expanded several times to produce a range of lithium concentrates. Their Salares 7 Project consists of seven salars (salt lakes) and playas located in the Atacama Region of Northern Chile. Talison Lithium is progressing to the next phase of its exploration at the Salares 7 Project. Ultra Lithium Inc.
