The majority of the resources are in the Marathon and Leprechaun depos - its, which also have resources below the pit shell. Both deposits are open to depth and on strike. Marathon Gold has a 50-per- son all-season camp at the road-accessible property. Casa Minerals Inc. [CASA-TSXV] reported that recent work on its 100%-owned Pitman property, 20 km from Terrace, northwest British Columbia, has identi- fied a possibly significant zone of mixed sulphide mineralization in an area located one kilometre south of the company's Golden Dragon high-grade gold discov- ery. Rock and soil geochemical sampling of the newly discovered area that has been named Dragon Tale returned assays as high as 231 g/t silver and 6.15% zinc. Work has not shown limits of the zone but mineralization was found in outcrops in an area of 1.4 by 0.7 km and possibly related geochemical soil anomalies continue in all directions. Since 2008, exploration on the Pitman property has included prospecting, geolog - ical mapping and geochemical sampling, and included more than 1,009 geochemi- cal soil and 269 rock samples. An airborne geophysical survey was completed in October 2018 with results pending. At the Golden Dragon prospect, surface samples as high as 574 g/t gold and 109 g/t silver were reported. Canadian Orebodies Inc. [CORE-TSXV; CNOBF-OTC] has completed the first phase of drilling on its 100%-optioned Wire Lake Project 15 km northeast of Marathon, northern Ontario, consisting of the Black Raven, Goodchild, Sprucejack and Wire Lake properties. This first phase com - prised 13 holes totalling 2,098.3 metres. Three areas were tested on the Black Raven property including Super G, North Ridge and Contact Lake, as well as three separate areas on the Wire Lake property: Kakeeway Zone, Lucky Seven and the West Zone. Drill hole BR-2018-002 returned 133.2 g/t gold over 2.0 metres, including 443.0 g/t gold over 0.6 metres in the Super G Vein of the Smoke Lake gold system, the highest-grade drill result on the property to date. The drilling confirmed that the Super G Vein is part of a much larger min - eralized system, named the Smoke Lake gold system (SLGS), which is composed of multiple mineralized stacked horizons with potential for high-grade gold in every structure. As well, drill hole BR-2018-001 inter - sected 19.1 g/t gold over 2.0 metres in the Markes structure of the Smoke Lake gold system. Last year's drilling in the Super G structure suggests a 170-metre down-plunge continuity of high-grade mineralization that remains open at depth. n MINING
