Airborne geophysics has identified con- ductors at depth that may represent sulphides. Plans call for drilling these anomalies. Zawar Natural Resources Pvt. Ltd. has completed two seasons of fieldwork at its Saqqaq Project in western Greenland that included sampling and structural map - ping. The exploration target is a shear zone-related, gold deposit. Greenland Minerals Limited [GGG- ASX] has been operating in Greenland since 2007. The company's primary focus is the development of the large Kvanefjeld rare earth project in southwest Greenland. In addition to rare earths, the property also hosts zinc and uranium mineralization. NORWAY/SWEDEN/FINLAND Arctic Star Exploration Corp. [ADD- TSXV; ASDZF-OTCQB; 82A1-FSE] has begun its 2019 exploration program at its 100%-owned Timantti diamond proj- ect located in northern Finland. The Timantti Project consists of one 289-hect- are exploration permit surrounded by two exploration reservations totalling 193,700 hectares near the township of Kuusamo. The company has already located three diamondiferous kimberlite bodies, the host rock of diamonds, within the exploration permits of White, Black and Grey Wolf, as well as three kimberlite dykes. The 2019 program is designed to locate further kimberlite discoveries as kimber - lites often occur in groups of two dozen or more. Initially, the exploration will comprise ground magnetic surveys over the priority targets, followed by trench- ing over the anomalies using an excavator. Arctic Star was successful in locating kim- berlite using these methods in 2018, and company geologists expect this success can be continued in 2019. Kimberlite that does occur in the trenches will be sent for caustic fusion to determine micro-diamond content. Barsele Minerals Corp. [BME-TSXV; BRSLF-OTC] is exploring the advanced- stage Barsele gold project, a joint venture with Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. [AEM-TSX, NYSE]. Ownership is 55% Agnico Eagle and 45% Barsele. Agnico Eagle is the oper - ator and can earn an additional 15% by completing a pre-feasibility study. There is no cash outlay requirement by Barsele until a pre-feasibility study is completed. The project is located in the mining region of Vasterbottens Lan, northern Sweden, 600 km north of Stockholm. The property covers over 47,000 hectares in the Fennoscandian Shield along the west - ern extent of the Skellefte Gold Massive Sulphide Trend which intersects with the Gold Line of Sweden, a linear belt of gold deposits with current and past producers GREENLAND LEFT: Exploring the Timantti diamond project in northern Finland where four diamond-bearing kimberlites have been discovered.
