[ 1208-HKEX;MMG-ASX] has the Izok Corridor zinc/copper project which includes the Izok and High Lake deposits where it has conducted detailed environmental surveys as well as economic and social studies. Izok is a rich zinc/copper deposit with a Mineral Resource of 15 mil- lion tonnes at 13% zinc and 2.3% copper. The High Lake deposit, located north of Izok, has a Mineral Resource of 14 million tonnes at 3.8% zinc and 2.5% copper. The primary challenge for the project is the sub- stantial infrastructure required to develop this Arctic project. Norgold, [private], through its Canadian subsidiary, Northquest Ltd., is the 100% owner of the high-grade Pistol Bay gold project. The company plans to follow up 2018 exploration with an infill drill program to test underground poten- tial, while upgrading data density of the existing open pit resources to facilitate an upgrade in resource classification. North Arrow Minerals Inc. [NAR- TSXV] has the 100%-owned Naujaat diamond project on the Melville Peninsula. In May 2019, North Arrow announced plans to collect a 10,000-tonne bulk sample from the Q1-4 deposit with plans to design a small-scale diamond recovery plant. NxGold Ltd. [NXN-TSXV] has entered into an earn-in agreement with Meliadine Gold Ltd. to earn up to a 70% interest in the Kuulu gold project along trend of Agnico Eagle's Meliadine project. The com- pany continues efforts to secure renewal of Land Use Licences for the project. Orano Canada Inc.'s (formerly AREVA Resources Canada) proposed uranium mine, 80 km west of Baker Lake at their Kiggavik Project, recently went through the environmental assessment process and was subsequently suspended. The project has been placed on care and maintenance while the company considers its next steps. Orano Canada Inc. is a subsidiary of the multinational Orano group. Sabina Silver Corp.'s [SBB-TSXV] 100%-owned Back River gold project in southwestern Nunavut hosts significant NI 43-101 gold resources and reserves.
