The company has a processing agreement with Cameco and has two long-term sales agreements with US nuclear facilities. Uranium Energy Corp. [UEC-NYSE MKT; U6Z-FSE] reported financial and production results for the third quarter ended April 30, 2013. Production from its Palangana Mine in Texas increased to JULY 2013 69,000 lbs U3O8 compared to 48,000 lbs the previous quarter. During the quarter, the company sold 70,000 lbs U3O8 for revenue of US $2.8 million at US $40/lb. Cash cost/ lb sold decreased to US $23/lb primarily due to a 45% increase in production volume. Total resources in Texas increased by 22% to 16.1 million lbs U3O8. The Goliad ISR Project is now permitted with construction under way. Uranium One Inc. Uranium One also has a 50% interest in the Karatau joint venture, which owns the Karatau Mine, and a 30% interest in the Kyzylkum joint venture, which owns the Kharasan Project. Uravan Minerals Inc. [UVN-TSXV] is flying a property-wide heliborne EM geophysical survey over the Stewardson Lake Project in the Athabasca Basin to be followed by geochemical surface program to identify promising drill targets. Yellowjacket Resources Ltd. is running airborne geophysical surveys over its uranium prospects in the southwest Athabasca Basin. The company is changing its name to Athabasca Nuclear Corp. [ASC-TSXV]. Zadar Ventures Ltd. [ZAD-TSXV] has agreed to acquire a 100% interest in the 7,744-hectare Patterson Northeast uranium project in the western Athabasca Basin. The project has road access and directly adjoins Fission's Patterson Lake North Project, recently 50%-optioned to Azincourt Resources Inc. Zadar has also signed an option agreement with Canterra Minerals Corp.
