Laramide is positioning itself to begin a feasibility study and file permits following the recent announcement in Queensland regard- ing resumption of uranium mining in the Australian state. Situated along strike from the Westmoreland Project are Laramide's joint venture projects: the Rio Tinto – Murphy farm-in and joint venture, the NuPower- Lagoon Creek Joint Venture and the Debbil Debbil Creek uranium project. Laramide's La Jara Mesa uranium proj- ect, in New Mexico, US, is also at the development stage. The company's La Sal Project, in Utah, is proximal to Energy Fuel's White Mesa Mill; Laramide has a toll milling agreement with Energy Fuels. The company expects La Sal to be the first of its projects to go into production. Long Harbour Exploration Corp. [LHC-TSXV] has two 100%-owned prop- erties in the Athabasca Basin: the 2Z Lake property and the Madison property. The company states that "geophysical pro- grams confirm EM conductors indicating the potential for a high-grade uranium discovery." Lucky Strike Resources Ltd. [LKY- TSXV], a member of the Western Athabasca Syndicate, is exploring is exploring several uranium properties in the Athabasca Basin region. Macusani Yellowcake Inc. [YEL- TSXV; QCI-FSE] has signed a non-binding letter of intent for the acquisition of all of Azincourt's adjacent uranium proper- ties located on the Macusani Plateau in southeast Peru in exchange for 68,350,000 shares of Macusani. Macusani Yellowcake is exploring its Kihitian, Colibri 2 & 3, and Corachapi properties on the Macusani Plateau in southeast Peru with the high- grade Kihitian Project being the main focus of the program.
