[BOL-TSXV] is exploring various properties in the Ring of Fire region some 530 km north of Thunder Bay, northwest Ontario, where a number of metals are present, including copper, nickel, lead, zinc, gold, silver, platinum, palladium and chromium. Bold and KWG Resources Inc. [KWG-TSXV] recently reported drill results of 129 metres grading 37.63% Cr 2 O 3 , including 70.5 metres of 42.02% Cr 2 O 3 , including 19.5 metres of 45.78% Cr 2 O 3 at Koper Lake. Bold and KWG also reported that the 5,000-metre drilling program at the Black Horse chromite deposit, part of the Koper Lake Project, met its objective of extending the deposit to depth. Gold values were also encountered. Canada Zinc Metals Corp. [CZX-TSXV; A0RAQJ-FSE] announced drilling had started at its Akie zinc-lead property, which is located in north British Columbia and includes the Cardiac Creek deposit. The program has two main objectives: a minimum of 1,600 metres diamond drilling at Cardiac Creek and an airborne grav- ity survey on the Akie and Mt. Alcock properties. At a 5% zinc cut-off, Cardiac's current resource stands at 12.7 million tonnes, grading 8.4% zinc, 1.7% lead and 13.7 g/t silver indicated and 16.3 million tonnes, grading 7.4% zinc, 1.3% lead and 11.6 g/t silver inferred. Canadian Zinc Corp. [CZN-TSX; CZICF-OTCQB] has been working on its advanced-stage Prairie Creek zinc-lead- silver project in the Northwest Territories, Canada. Most of the infrastructure is in place, including a 1,000m tpd mill, 5 km of underground workings and related equip- ment, accommodations, an airstrip and an access road. Measured and indicated resources are 5.43 million tonnes grading 10.8% zinc, 10.2%, 160 g/t silver and 0.31% copper. The company announced an 8,000 metre diamond drill program at its wholly-owned Tulks South and Long Lake copper- lead-zinc-silver-gold projects in central Newfoundland on June 18.
