Exploring TURKEY EMX's Alankoy high sulfidation/porphyry copper-gold project is available for partnership. Eurasian also owns the Golcuk property in Sivas province in the Eastern Pontides Metallogenic Belt, northeast Turkey. The project consists of one exploration license covering 4,000 hectares. Inmet Mining Corp. [IMN-TSX] owns a 100% interest in the Çayeli underground copper-zinc mine on the Black Sea coast of northeast Turkey. The mine was opened in 1994 and will be in production until at least 2019. For the nine months ended September 30, 2012, production was 24,400 tonnes of copper and 29,600 tonnes of zinc. Kefi Minerals [KEFI-London AIM] is exploring the Artvin and Gumushane prospects in northeast Turkey, the Derinin Tepe and Muratdag in western Turkey, the Bakir Tepe in southwest Turkey, and the Hasancelebi property in central Turkey. Koza Altin [Istanbul Stock Exchange], a Turkish company, currently operates 42 www.resourceworld.com Ovacik, Havran, Kucukdere and Mastra gold mines in western Turkey. Mediterranean Resources Ltd. [ M N R - T S X ; MHM1-Frankfurt] is advancing four projects along its 12-km Red Mountain (Kızıldag ˘) Project in northeast Turkey. The project consists of the Tac (gold-copper) deposit, the Corak (gold-zinc-lead) deposit, the Celtik (gold) exploration target and the Cevreli (gold-polymetallic) exploration target. NI 43-101 compliant resource estimates for the Taç and Çorak projects (4 km apart) total 1.58 million oz gold indicated and 0.29 million oz inferred, as well as an indicated resource of 64 million lbs copper, Visible gold from KCD-50 drill hole at Pilot Gold's TV Tower Project in northwest Turkey.
