Field work last year identified at least six regional scale structures on the Slate Falls Project, three of which are associated with histori- cal high-grade gold values. The geological setting is similar to New Gold's advanced stage Rainy River project 65 kms north- west of Fort Frances. Harte Gold Corp. [HRT-TSX; HRTFF- OTC; H4O-FSE] is exploring its Sugar Zone property 60 km east of the Hemlo gold mines. The property contains an indi- cated resource of 714,200 oz and inferred resources of 760,800 oz. Harte raised $32 million earlier this year, part of which will be used to fund development of the Sugar Zone including mill construction. Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. [KL-TSX, NYSE] is a mid-tier gold producer tar- geting over 620,000 ounces of gold production in 2018 from mines in Canada and Australia. The company's Macassa Mine near Kirkland Lake ranks among the higher grade gold mines in the world with a head grade of approximately 15 g/t. The company's Holt Mine Project near Matheson was part of the acquisition of St. Andrew Goldfields in January 2016 which included the Taylor, Holloway, Holt and Hislop mines and a milling facility on the Holt property. Taylor was commissioned in 2015 and produced 50,764 oz gold in 2017. Manitou Gold Inc. [MTU-TSXV] holds a large land package of gold properties near Dryden. The company initiated a bulk sampling program on the high-grade zone at its Kenwest property in November of 2017. Results from 2,078 metres of drilling (16 holes) included a high of 9.2 g/t gold across 1.59 metres. All intercepts occurred between 20 and 50 metres. Trench sam- pling along the BM#2 Zone returned a high of 11.64 g/t over 5.3 metres. A follow- up drill campaign is planned. Moneta Porcupine Mines Inc. [ME-TSX; MPUCF-OTC; MOP-FSE] holds a 100% interest in five gold projects along the Destor-Porcupine Fault Zone in the Timmins Gold Camp. Moneta's flagship Golden Highway Project covers 12 km of the DPFZ hosting a NI 43-101 indicated resource of 1.1million oz and 3.2 million oz inferred resource. High-grade controlling structures have been recently identified and are currently being drill tested, poten- tially adding a high-grade gold component to any updated resource. The camp is dominated by significant gold produc- ers including; Goldcorp, Kirkland Lake Gold, Tahoe Resources, Osisko Mining and McEwen Mining. Moneta also holds a 50% interest in the Garrison JV with Kirkland Lake Gold. New Gold Inc.'s [NGD-TSX, NYSE American; NGDAF-OTC] Canadian assets include the Rainy River Mine in northwest Ontario which successfully achieved com- mercial production ahead of schedule in mid-October 2017. Rainy River produced 37,047 oz during the fourth quarter. Orefinders Resources Inc. [ORX- TSXV] recently completed a Preliminary Economic Assessment for the South Zone Open Pit, part of the Mirado Gold Mine southeast of Kirkland Lake. The company is focused on 12 contiguous patented claims which are 100% owned. Surrounding these claims, Orefinders has optioned and/or staked 37 additional con- tiguous claims covering about 10 km of prospective strike length. Osisko Mining Inc. [OSK-TSX; OBNNF- OTC] is focused on northwest Québec; however, the company also has extensive interests in Ontario's Larder Lake Mining Division. These include the Jonpol and Garrcon deposits located on the Garrison property, the Buffonta past producing mine, and the Gold Pike Mine property. Osisko is well financed, with some $190 million in cash and investments available to fund exploration and development. Over 85,000 metres of new drilling has been conducted on the Garrison Project since its acquisition in late 2015. Premier Gold Mines Ltd. [PG-TSX] has operations in Mexico, Nevada and Ontario.
